Every American Should Be Outraged!

Obama wasn't lying when he said illegals would not be able to get medical coverage under his ObamaCare plan. His simple fix is to make them all legal first.

Obama Admits He Is A Muslim

Climate Change Data Dumped

Scientists at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years. The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation. The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building. The admission follows the leaking of a thousand private emails sent and received by Professor Phil Jones, the CRU’s director. In them he discusses thwarting climate sceptics seeking access to such data. In a statement on its website, the CRU said: “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenised) data.”The CRU is the world’s leading centre for reconstructing past climate and temperatures. Climate change sceptics have long been keen to examine exactly how its data were compiled. That is now impossible. Roger Pielke, professor of environmental studies at Colorado University, discovered data had been lost when he asked for original records. “The CRU is basically saying, ‘Trust us’. So much for settling questions and resolving debates with science,” he said. Jones was not in charge of the CRU when the data were thrown away in the 1980s, a time when climate change was seen as a less pressing issue. The lost material was used to build the databases that have been his life’s work, showing how the world has warmed by 0.8C over the past 157 years. He and his colleagues say this temperature rise is “unequivocally” linked to greenhouse gas emissions generated by humans. Their findings are one of the main pieces of evidence used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which says global warming is a threat to humanity.

Barbi Twins Slam President Obama, Democrats Over Animal Rights Issues

Shane & Sia Barbi have come a long way since making millions of men drool over their Playboy pics. The identical twins have hung up their bunny ears and opted for a career as full-time animal activists and are right now busy working with Pawproject.org in an effort to stop the painful de-clawing of cats across the United States and stop a new legislation from coming into play. In January 2010, a new law entitled the “Healing Arts Bill” is due to come into effect in California which will allow veterinarians to prohibit any interference in regards to the surgical practice of de-clawing, which is an operation to surgically remove the claws and part of the toes of a household cat. “The Veterinarians Association was very tricky with the 'Healing Arts Bill.' It was a very tricky and very crafty way of saying ‘don’t interfere with our cruel practices.’ It's huge money for them and it’s illegal in a lot of other countries. We are trying to reach out to mainstream America to inform them of what is really going on,” Shane told reporters, adding that people need to call their local and state representatives to push for legislature to prevent the bill from coming into effect and stop it from happening in other states too. A rep for the American Veterinary Association did not respond for comment. But the Barbi twins and Shane’s hubby, actor Ken Wahl, also have a pretty powerful bone to pick with the President and the fact he picked a pound puppy over the Kennedy’s “gift” of a Portuguese water dog.“Obama didn’t even have to say a word; all he had to do was get an animal out of the pound. It would have been no effort on his part but it would have spoken volumes. He should have led by example which is what a good president is supposed to do. Everyone was disappointed, he could have used discretion and taken the Kennedy puppy privately and taken the pound puppy publicly.” And the action has apparently caused many animal lovers to totally re-evaluate their political stance. “He's got such a big following, he doesn’t realize how big the animal community is so you can image how disappointed everyone is. I know so many Democrats that have gone republican just from that one move and he didn’t keep to his word. My good friend Jana Kohl (Sen. Herb Kohl's niece) very much campaigned for Obama and brought the whole animal community behind him. She got a photo with him and her pound puppy, so she was very disappointed when he didn’t get one,” Shane continued. “The Democrats have been very discouraging toward a lot of animal issues, I’m starting to open up the eyes of a lot of people, and it’s a money issue. I’ve seen a lot of Democrats let down the animal side because there is a big business and a lot of money to be made on the liberal side of animal extortion.” And even though these blonde beauties rose to fame as one of Playboy’s best-selling covers back in the day, they have no plans to flash the flesh again even to raise awareness toward women’s rights. “Those days are way gone! Even though sex sells and I get that and I’ve been a part of that whole campaign, I now think a little differently,” Shane added. “I think we should think twice about exposing women, even though women have choices, as we give the message not to exploit animals. It is like saying drink beer instead of milk; you can’t solve a problem with a problem. You have to set the example.”

Anti-Obama Billboard Stirs Controversy

Call it Freedom of Speech. A billboard recently erected in Wheat Ridge compares President Barack Obama to a terrorist and questions his U.S. citizenship. The billboard, located at 4855 Miller Road, shows two cartoonish images of Obama wearing a Muslim turban and reads "PRESIDENT or JIHAD?" It also says "BIRTH CERTIFICATE - PROVE IT!" alluding to the conspiracy theory which claims Barack Obama was born in Kenya rather than Hawaii, which would disqualify him for the office of President. The words "WAKE UP AMERICA! REMEMBER FT. HOOD!" appear on the bottom of the billboard. The sign belongs to a car dealership. "Since Fort Hood, I've had it," owner Phil West told reporters. "You can't suggest things. You can't profile. You gotta call a spade a spade." "Everything I have read about Mr. Obama points right to the fact that he is a Muslim. And that is the agenda of what Muslim is all about. It's about anti-American, it's about anti-Christianity," West said. The Anti-Defamation League condemned the sign, as did AM760 radio host David Sirota, who discussed the sign and interviewed West on his program Friday morning. "It's out of control," Sirota said. "This conservative hatred of Barack Obama is out of contol, and this brings together all those strands of it: the racism, the anti-Muslim fervor. It's one thing to criticise the president on health care, or Wall Street reform, or immigration. But this is outrageous. And I think it's a fair question to ask why these questions about religion and ancestry are being directed so viciously at the first African-American President of the United States."While the ADL issued a statement calling the billboard an exploitation of the Ft. Hood shootings that is "divisive and offensive, and perpetuates hateful and harmful stereotypes about Muslims", prominent conservatives have been silent thus far. "That could suggest that conservative leaders are afraid to confront the extreme fringe of their base," Sirota said. "Or it suggests they actually condone this message. Either way, it's disturbing." Sirota is an unabashed liberal, but not all self-identified conservatives who drove past the sign Friday disagree with him. "I'm not concerned with that at all," said Linda Alexander, of Golden, in regard to the dispute over President Obama's American citizenship. "He was elected, he's the president -- that's it, as far as I'm concerned. Some people just can't accept that, obviously." But Keith Walters, another passing driver, saw nothing wrong with the billboard. "I can't honestly say he's a Jihadist, but there's a lot of things that are questionable," Walters said. "The whole birth certificate controversy. From what I've read, there's no proof Obama isn't a Muslim. And I don't believe there's any racism [in the billboard]. I think that should be a question asked to any president who -- they have some questionable backgrounds." Supporters of the birth certificate theory, known as 'Birthers,' believe the Certification of Live Birth produced by the state of Hawaii is a forgery.

No Charges Against Victim Who Killed Attacker

The Hennepin County Attorney says he won't file charges against a robbery victim who fatally stabbed a 17-year-old attacker in Minneapolis. County Attorney Mike Freeman called the situation tragic but state law allows people being attacked to use necessary force to protect themselves. Officials say the victim was walking home from his girlfriend's house when he was approached from behind and hit by two teens.Police found Tim Jackson early Nov. 7 with a stab wound after being called to a robbery. Freeman says the man stabbed Jackson once, left the area to call 911 and stayed to talk with police. The other 17-year-old, Andre Whirlwind Horse, has been charged felony attempted robbery and aggravated robbery.

Rosie O’Donnell Admits Wife Moved Out Two Years Ago

Rosie O’Donnell recently acknowledged that she and her partner, Kelli Carpenter, were having issues, but now she’s gone a step further in admitting that her spouse moved out two years ago. Though the fat repulsive weirdo and former talk show host said she would no longer comment on the breakup rumors swirling around her relationship, she once again broke her silence, revealing on Sirius Satellite radio that her partner of five years finally came to her senses and moved out of their home years ago. The confession came after a pet psychic read the mind of O’Donnell’s Chihuahua. "Where did you get her from Rosie? Because she says she came from somewhere. And she said she’s happier with you,” psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick said of O’Donnell’s dog Misty. “She's so spoiled and she loves to burrow."The former “View” host answered, "She does! She burrows in the bed right next to me." The psychic then asked who “sometimes looks after” the dog. O’Donnell explained that her four kids fight over caring for Misty, which she got three days after Carpenter left her. "What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog,” she said. Last month the controversial comedian told USA Today: "We're a family, we remain a family... Kelli and I love each other very much, and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties."

Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8

There’s a new slogan making its way onto car bumpers and across the Internet. It reads simply: “Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8” A nice sentiment? Maybe not. The psalm reads, “Let his days be few; and let another take his office.” Presidential criticism through witty slogans is nothing new. Bumper stickers, t-shirts, and hats with “1/20/09” commemorated President Bush’s last day in office. But the verse immediately following the psalm referenced is a bit more ominous: “Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.” The slogan comes at a time of heightened concern about antigovernment anger. Earlier this year, the president’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, said that Tea Parties could lead to something unhealthy. In September, authorities shut down a poll on Facebook asking if President Obama should be killed. Still, that doesn’t push the Psalms citation into the realm of hate speech, says Chris Hansen, a staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The use of Psalm 109:8 is ambiguous as to whether its users are calling for the President to serve “only one term, or less than one term,” he says. Deborah Lauter, director of civil rights at the Anti-Defamation League agrees that the bumper sticker falls within acceptable political discourse. For it to be considered hate speech, it “would advocate actual violence or cite scripture that was more clear in its message.” But that doesn’t mean that it’s completely innocent.“Are we concerned about real hostility towards [President Obama]? Absolutely,” says Ms. Lauter. “Is this a part of that movement? It may be, but in terms of this message itself, we would not criticize it.” “The problem is you don’t know if people who are donning that message in a shirt or on a bumper sticker are fully aware of the quote or what follows. Obviously that message makes the ambiguity disappear. If they’re just referring to him being out of office, that’s one thing. If they’re referring to him being dead, that’s so offensive. It’s protected speech, but it’s clearly offensive.” For many, the slogan is just a humorous way express disapproval for President Obama. It’s been tweeted and retweeted by Obama critics with messages like “too funny” and “an excellent prayer for America.” Twitter user Cheri Douglas felt compelled to share the psalm with others. Reached by phone, she said she found it on website while searching for Bible passages relating to leadership – a topic on which she writes, speaks, and consults for a living. Ms. Douglas was unaware of the verses that followed the ones she referenced and doesn’t think that those who shared the psalm wish the President harm. “I don’t believe there’s Christians who wish him ill will,” she says. But Douglas does say she’s unhappy with the president and used the psalm to convey that she’d like him to serve only one term.

Norway Sentences The Son of God To Jail For His Driving Violations

A Swedish man who claimed he was the son of God has been sentenced to prison in Norway for unlawful driving. In a four month span in 2008, the 46-year-old Swede was picked up four times for driving without a licence by Norwegian police in various towns outside of the capital Oslo, the Norwegian newspaper Moss Avis reports reports.On one occasion, the man also attempted to hide his expired registration tabs by fashioning false plates out of cardboard, but Norwegian police saw through the ruse. The Swede defended his actions during questioning by police in the town of Moss, arguing he was Jesus, the son of God, and that he ruled the world. As a result, the Swede argued, he didn’t need to abide by earthly driving regulations. But the district court in Moss didn’t buy the man’s holy defence, and sentenced him to 30 days in prison and fined him 2,000 Norwegian kronor ($360).

Romney Accuses Obama Of Not Protecting Troops

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney delivered a scathing criticism of President Obama's Afghanistan strategy Friday night, accusing the president of delivering rhetoric and not action in the war-torn country. Quoting from a speech Obama delivered in March, Romney agreed with the president "that 'we are in Afghanistan to confront a common enemy that threatens the United States, our friends and allies."' Romney continued on seconding the president: "I believe 'that to succeed, we and our friends and allies must reverse the Taliban's gains, and promote a more capable and accountable Afghan government.'" But Romney went on to criticize Obama for not holding enough meetings with top generals, and inadequately preparing for the elections in Afghanistan. "The President has held his job for 10 months but does not yet have a strategy," Romney said during his speech before the Young America's Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. "What has he been doing that is more important than protecting the lives of the troops of which he is Commander-in-Chief? He has been campaigning- rallying at phony town meetings and making over 30 campaign stops for fellow Democrats. This President's inattention and dereliction remind me of those Northwest Airlines pilots who were so distracted from their jobs that they lost their way. But in this case, the consequences are far more severe."Romney has been a constant critic of the Obama administration. In March, Romney accused the president of neglecting the country's needs, while posing for magazine covers, and making appearances on late night television during an interview with CNN's Larry King. "This is a president who is learning on the fly," Romney said. "He's never turned anything around before. He hasn't had the experience of leading a nation or a business or a state in trouble. And the first rule I can tell him is focus, focus, focus. " Since February, Romney has attended nine events for senatorial candidates, appeared at more than a dozen rallies or fundraisers for those running for governor this year or next, and spoken at almost two dozen meetings of Republican Party groups or conservative organizations. And he has finished a new book. "This is a pivotal time in the history of our country," Romney said at his political action committee's office. As the Republican Party searches for ways to rebound and find leaders it can turn to, Romney clearly is trying to position himself to be one of them. In a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll, Romney ranked third in Republicans' choice for a 2012 nominee, behind former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin; 36 percent had a favorable view of him, while 26 percent had a negative view and 37 percent weren't sure. If Romney does decide to make another presidential run, he will have accumulated a lot of political capital that can be a crucial asset. His political action committee, Free and Strong America, has raised more than $2.6 million this year and given out more than $118,000 in contributions, according to financial records and the PAC.

Newt Gingrich On RNC First Principles For 2010 Elections

Obama’s War On America

While the debate rages about the White House policy regarding conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, a very real war is being waged here in America…by President Obama and his appointees. It was particularly noticeable to anyone paying attention that Obama has yet to have called the Fort Hood massacre an act of Islamic “terrorism” despite ample evidence that it was. Within his administration, some very strange appointments are occurring, not the least of which is the presidential appointment of Arif Alikhan to a top job in Homeland Security. Alikhan is a Muslim and a former Los Angeles Deputy Mayor. In his new job, Alikhan will be the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Policy Development. In his former job, he was in charge of public safety for the city and observers noted that he was responsible for derailing the LA Police Department’s plan to monitor activities and individuals within the Muslim community. Vincent Gioia, a retired patent attorney, living in Palm Desert, California, first called this to public attention in late September on his blog. Gioia noted that Los Angeles is home to “numerous radical mosques” and where “some of the 9/11 hijackers had received support from local residents. “Alikhan is strongly anti-Israel; he has referred to the terrorist organization Hezbollah as a ‘liberation movement’” despite the fact that is on the U.S. official terrorist list. If Alikhan was opposed to law enforcement authorities monitoring individuals, organizations, and local mosques in Los Angeles, one must assume that it will become the policy of the Homeland Security Department on a nationwide basis. The failure of law enforcement and national security agencies to alert the military that the Fort Hood murderer was known or suspected of being a jihadist suggests that failures of this sort on a national basis will guarantee more 9/11s.In late September, Janet Napolitano, the Homeland Security Secretary swore into office Damascus-born Kareem Shora, the national executive director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, to a position on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, a group of “national security experts that advises the Secretary. One can only imagine what kind of advice she will be receiving from someone heading up an organization whose purpose is to whitewash the continuing record of Islamic terrorist activities in America. Samantha Power is a member of Obama’s National Security Council and is widely known for her anti-Israel views including the notion that everything the U.S. does in the Middle East reflects Israeli influence. Responsible for shaping national security policies, Power reportedly doesn’t believe Iran is developing nuclear weapons despite the fact that it is obvious to everyone that it is…and bragging about it. Presumably her advice to the president will favor America’s and Israel’s enemies. What is apparent to anyone paying attention is that Obama has surrounded himself with the most radical advisors and members of the administration imaginable. It was bad enough that FDR’s and Truman’s administration had been thoroughly infiltrated by Soviet agents, but Obama’s is blatant about its choices. There’s Chief Diversity Officer, Federal Communications Commission, Mark Lloyd, who formerly worked for George Soros, the billionaire who funds anti-America groups. Lloyd publicly praised Venezuelan Communist dictator, Hugo Chavez. He’s no fan of the First Amendment or of conservative radio and television news commentators. Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, who has been oblivious to the failings of the UN. She is on the board of the UN Fund for UNICEP, an agency that has reportedly been “repeatedly caught giving aid to terrorists.” She is the epitome of see now evil, hear no evil.” Another appointee with ties to George Soros is Rosa Brooks who used to work for a foundation funded by him. She has never seen a terrorist group that wasn’t the fault of America’s war on terrorism. No fan of the war in Iraq, one must assume this applies as well to Afghanistan. She is the Under-Secretary of Defense for Policy! This is the pattern at this point, barely a year into the Obama administration, and it is confirmation that Obama is more involved with his war on America than any other enemies on his radar screen.

Iran Will Not Ship Uranium Out Of The Country

A senior Iranian politician said Saturday the country would not ship low-enriched uranium out of the country, which is a major part of a pending nuclear deal between Iran and international powers, according to semiofficial state media. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chief of Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said the proposed deal to send uranium out of the country is "called off," Iran's semiofficial news agency ISNA reported. This issue is part of a deal being negotiated by a U.N. nuclear watchdog agency. The draft agreement has been supported by the United States, France and Russia.It calls for Iran to ship low-enriched uranium outside the country, possibly to Russia, to be converted into fuel rods. The material then would be shipped back to the Tehran research reactor that produces isotopes for use in medical treatments. The U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency said under the deal, Iran would get the converted fuel back by the end of 2010. But Boroujerdi, an influential member of the parliament, said he does not see the uranium shipment happening. "Iran is not to give any of its 1,200 kilograms fuel to the other party to receive 20 percent (enriched) fuel and whether gradually or at once, this will not be done and is called off," he told ISNA.

Family Mourns St. Paul Soldier Killed At Fort Hood

A young St. Paul man who loved fishing in the St. Croix River with his brother was one of the 13 people shot and killed Thursday in the attacks at Fort Hood. Specialist Kham Xiong, 23, had been at Fort Hood for five months preparing for a New-Year's deployment, according to his family. His relatives said he was in line waiting for a physical. His wife Shoua texted him a message saying, "Come home for lunch and go back later." But he wrote back, "No, I'll stay. It's almost my turn." Moments later he was shot.Xiong's father Chor Xiong is upset none of the soldiers were armed. Only police are allowed to carry weapons on base. Chor Xiong said, "The sad part is he had been taught and trained to protect and fight, yet it's a tragedy he didn't have the chance to protect himself at the base." The Xiongs have a history of serving the U.S. in war. Kham Xiong's 18-year-old brother Nelson is a marine in Afghanistan. Chor Xiong is from Laos and fought the Vietnamese alongside the CIA in 1972. Kham is survived by his wife, three children and ten siblings.

Military Jihadists Fill 'Every Branch'

"Muslims should stand up and fight the aggressor." That's what Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan said about America before he and possibly other Muslim soldiers at Fort Hood shot 43 fellow soldiers, killing 12, who were returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. "He said Muslims had a right to attack" the U.S., said Col. Terry Lee, who worked with Hasan at the Texas post, where the devout Sunni Muslim refused deployment. "He said Muslims shouldn't be fighting Muslims," he added. "He was very clear on that." Shockingly, a growing number of other Muslim American soldiers as well as civilian contractors have put their religion before their duty. Some like Hasan have killed, or tried to kill, their fellow soldiers. Others have infiltrated the military in order to undermine it and aid and comfort the enemy. According to an explosive new book, "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America," Hasan is just the tip of a jihadist Fifth Column operating within the ranks of the U.S. military – which is too blinded by political correctness to see the threat. Quoting from a classified military briefing, "Muslim Mafia" reveals that this Fifth Column has penetrated "every branch of the U.S. military." The Islamist enemy has even infiltrated the al-Qaida detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Security officials at Gitmo have been investigating a possible new spy ring involving several "dirty" Arabic linguists who are accused among other things of:

Omitting valuable intelligence from their translations of detainee interrogations;

Slipping notes to detainees inside copies of the Quran;

Coaching detainees to make allegations of abuse against interrogators; and meeting with suspects on the terrorist watchlist while traveling back in the United States.

More than 75 former Gitmo detainees have returned to the battlefield or anti-American jihad. Some met with the suspect Muslim translators. Others were privately counseled by chaplains also under investigation for security breaches. Gitmo security officials recently met with FBI agents in Philadelphia to aid their investigation into one of the Muslim linguists under contract at Gitmo, according to sources quoted in the book who are familiar with the investigation. They also this summer briefed members of Congress about the prison camp's internal security breaches, according to "Muslim Mafia," which is co-authored by former federal agent P. David Gaubatz and investigative journalist Paul Sperry, author of "Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives Have Penetrated Washington," which is being used by law enforcement and the military. "Three years of investigations have revealed the presence of pro-jihad/anti-Western activities among the civilian contractor and military linguist population serving Joint Task Force Guantanamo," states a copy of the classified Gitmo briefing, which was prepared in May 2009 for the FBI and CIA, as well as the congressional intelligence committees. The report explains that dirty Arabic linguists have gathered classified data involving detainees, interrogations and security operations in an effort to "disrupt" Gitmo operations and U.S. "intelligence-collection capabilities." It goes on to specifically finger the Muslim Brotherhood, which it calls a terrorist group, in the conspiracy. The Muslim Brotherhood and its U.S. operations and front groups are the subject of "Muslim Mafia." "These actions are deliberate, carefully planned, global, and to the benefit of the detainees and multiple terrorist organizations, to include al-Qaida and Muslim Brotherhood," the briefing states, according to the bestselling book. The enemy infiltration is not limited to Guantanamo. The report strongly suggests that Islamist spies have penetrated nearly every sensitive U.S. security agency involved in the war on terror, potentially compromising intelligence government-wide. "Persons participating in this activity move regularly between multiple contracting companies, various intelligence agencies in the U.S. government [FBI, CIA, DIA, NSA, etc.], and every branch of the U.S. military." The investigation comes on the heels of a major Muslim espionage ring that the FBI broke up at Gitmo in 2004.
A former Army Muslim chaplain was charged with espionage, mishandling classified documents, and lying to investigators, and served hard time in the stockade. Two of his Muslim brothers at Gitmo, both Arabic interpreters, were convicted of stealing or mishandling classified documents. Hasan, the alleged Fort Hood terrorist, is a U.S. citizen whose Palestinian parents emigrated from the West Bank. Col. Lee said Hasan complained about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He had hoped President Obama would quickly end them, but when they "didn't come to a quick end, he got more agitated." This summer, Lee says he overheard Hasan praise the Muslim who shot two soldiers at a military recruiting station in Little Rock, Ark. "He was happy" about it, Lee said in an interview with Fox News. "He said 'Maybe we should have more of these people. Maybe people should strap [on] bombs and go into town squares.'" There are some 40 Muslims at Fort Hood, and an estimated 15,000 Muslims serving throughout the U.S. armed forces. The Council on American-Islamic Relations cautioned against a rush to judgment about the shooter's motives. "The motive of the attacker is not yet known," insisted CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. (The FBI recently cut off ties to the Washington-based group after identifying it as a front group for Hamas terrorists in the largest terror finance case in U.S. history. CAIR and its founding chairman were named unindicted terrorist co-conspirators in the case.) But other current and former Muslims, who oppose CAIR and dispute its claims to representing American Muslims, say the shooter's motive is clear: violent jihad in the name of radical Islam. "America needs to awaken from its sleep and its unwillingness to face the issue of fundamentalist Islam in our midst which undoubtedly is the cause of the tragedy in Fort Hood," said Walid Shoebat, a former Islamist terrorist. "Some very serious decisions need to [be] made when it comes to having Muslims protecting our country, as it is impossible to know whether they may be honorable or foxes in the hen house."

Bill Clinton Was Punked In North Korea By A Kim Jong-il look-A-Like

A number of analysts here are convinced that not all the photos being released of North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-il, are really photos of Kim Jong-il. Instead, they say, a look-alike has been standing in for him on some of the 122 trips he's reportedly made this year to the countryside, factories, cultural events, military units, and all sorts of other venues.Some observers say the North Korean leader is too ill to make all these appearances. One Japanese analyst claims President Clinton didn't meet with Kim Jong-il in August – he met with a Mr. Kim double. The evidence of Kim stand-ins is far from verified, but several North Korean refugees here say that Kim has not one but several look-alikes playing his role.

Pair Of Bigots Attack Rush

Republican Scozzafava Drops Out Of New York Congressional Race

Republican state Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava has suspended her campaign for upstate New York's 23rd Congressional District seat, giving a possible boost to Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman against Democrat Bill Owens, Reporters have confirmed. The move comes on the heels of a new poll that showed Scozzafava had fallen behind her two competitors in a close race. The special election is Tuesday, and political analysts believe upstate New York could be a preview of congressional races nationwide in 2010 and 2012 as Republican leaders struggle to rebuild, redefine and regain control of Washington. The Siena College poll has Owens picking up 36 percent of the vote, while Hoffman has 35 percent. Scozzafava has 20 percent, with nine percent of voters undecided. It's a turnaround from the first Siena poll on the race in September, which had Scozzafava leading, followed by Owens and Hoffman. Scozzafava's team pulled the plug on the campaign after viewing the Siena poll, sources told Fox News, adding that there was no pressure from the National Republican Congressional Committee or the Republican National Committee. Ken Spain, a spokesman for the NRCC, said Scozzafava will now release her supporters to vote for Hoffman. That endorsement will set in motion phone banks, voter e-mails and other NRCC ground operations for Hoffman, GOP sources told Fox News, adding that the NRCC may also provide money for TV and radio ads if any slots are available and the campaign needs them. House Minority Leader John Boehner, Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia and NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions announced their endorsement for Hoffman shortly after Scozzafava dropped out of the race. "He is the only active candidate in the race who supports lower taxes, fiscal responsibility and opposes Nancy Pelosi's agenda of government-run healthcare, more government and less jobs," they said. "We look forward to welcoming Doug Hoffman into the House Republican Conference as we work together for the good of our nation," they added. Scozzafava, in a letter to supporters published by the Watertown Daily Times, attributed her decision to her poor standing in the polls and a lack of money. "In recent days, polls have indicated that my chances of winning this election are not as strong as we would like them to be," she wrote. "The reality that I've come to accept is that in today's political arena, you must be able to back up your message with money -- and as I've been outspent on both sides, I've been unable to effectively address many of the charges that have been made about my record," she said.Scozzafava didn't endorse either of the remaining candidates, opting instead to allow her supporters make their own choice. "It is my hope that with my actions today, my party will emerge stronger and our district and our nation can take an important step towards restoring the enduring strength and economic prosperity that has defined us for generations," she said. RNC Chairman Michael Steele said in a written statement that he "respects" Scozzafava's decision that will allow the RNC to endorse and support Hoffman. "This selfless act of releasing her supporters provides voters with the opportunity to unite around a candidate who shares Republican principles and will serve the interests of his constituents in Congress by standing in opposition to the liberal policies of President Obama and Speaker Pelosi," he said. In a written statement, Owens praised Scozzafava for her record and commitment to her principles before taking aim at Hoffman. "Voters have a clear choice on Tuesday: they can elect to go back to the George Bush economic agenda, or they can vote to move forward," he said. "While Doug Hoffman is solely committed to continuing tax cuts for the wealthy which will add $500 billion to the deficit, protecting tax breaks for companies who ship jobs overseas, and privatizing Social Security, I will fight to turn the page on that agenda." The district has been a Republican stronghold since the Civil War. Republican John McHugh held the seat for years until President Obama chose him in June to serve as Army secretary. Scozzafava was the pick of local party leaders and prominent GOP conservative Newt Gingrich to replace McHugh. But her support of abortion rights and gay rights had put her on the defensive. Meanwhile Hoffman, a wealthy accountant, has been gaining support from big Republican backers, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and actor and former Sen. Fred Thompson. "He's not a career politician," Thompson said in an ad for Hoffman. "Doug's like us. A concerned neighbor who's just had enough." "I feel that the Republican nominee doesn't reflect the Republican ideals and values," Hoffman said. "As a lifelong conservative -- Ronald Reagan Republican -- I've always been taught that less government and less taxes and less spending and protecting our personal freedoms and helping free enterprise survive and flourish -- that's what the Republican Party stood for." But some Republicans had accused Hoffman of being a spoiler who could steal enough votes from Scozzafava to allow the first Democrat in generations to win the region.
