Oldest Inmate Done Aging
Despite appeals by his attorneys and the pleas by anti death penalty activist, Clarence Ray Allen was put to death shortly after midnight, Tuesday. Clarence Ray Allen's final meal was white-meat chicken from KFC, a buffalo steak, whole milk, sugar-free pecan pie and some black walnut ice cream. As the 76-year-old Allen dined inside the prison walls, about two dozen people gathered outside the gates tonight to protest the execution. That crowd has now swelled to about 200.
